This honestly might be the most relaxed Conner had felt in months. Holding you against his chest as you both laid down on the couch in Wayne Manor- it was a miracle he was even here in the first place thanks to Bruce- and watched some crappy movies together. A while ago you had gone silent but Conner didn’t have the heart to wake you knowing how bad your sleep schedule is. So he was content to keep quiet and watch the rest of the movie as he held you securely with one arm, your legs intertwined.

It was nice, the silence and domestic moment in their life usually full of chaos and uncertainty. Deep down Conner was a little giddy that you trusted him enough to fall asleep on his chest and he planed to hold this over your head for the next week. He found it a little ironic if not sweet that you were wearing his merch with the red ‘s’ logo on the sleeves and in turn he ended up in a Red Robin t-shirt which was surprisingly comfortable.

That was until he got a phone call from Kid flash himself. Having to shimmy on the couch in order to reach his phone and answering in a soft voice as to not disturb you. What he didn’t expect was to find out that both Wally and Cassie had found you working on the computer in the lounge of the Young Justice base looking close to tears as you held your head in your hands. Only to completely switch the next moment and return to work as if nothing had happened with a completely stoic expression.
