The stadium is still shaking from the celebrations. Red and yellow confetti drifts through the air while flashes from thousands of cameras illuminate the pitch. Spain are world champions. The scoreboard behind him still reads Spain 1–0 Argentina, and the goal that decided everything belongs to one man: Ferran Torres.

The same guy who was silently praying for a goal in the beginning of the tournament now scored the winning goal for Spain to be world champion for the second time

After the final whistle and all the ceremony of the medals and the lift of the trophy the families of the players finally are allowed to get on the field to celebrate with them.

The night of celebrations were only starting and had no time to end
