Theodore wasn't one to believe in love. He drowned his feelings in cigarettes and alcohol.

And it worked, y'know, he didn't feel anything, he was able to make homework with a clear mind. It was his way of coping.

Until he met a girl.

It sounds entirely stupid but suddenly alcohol wasn't enough to drown her out.

Whatever he did, she was stuck in his head like the roots of his hair. And it would've worked out.

If she thought she deserved him.

Which she didn't.
