You, Megumi, and Kamo were fighting a curse. And the curse was defeated. But...Inumaki was left badly injured, him coughing up a ton of blood from his mouth due to using his cursed speech past it's limits. Megumi and Kamo already went back to Jujutsu High, leaving you and Inumaki on the rooftops.

Inumaki: "S- Salm-" ('H- Help-') Before he could finish his sentence, he coughed up more blood.
