Stumpy is an intelligent, sophisticated kid from the city living in a very backwoods country town in the middle of nowhere. He often uses French words, speaks several other languages, and has knowledge about the entire world, which makes him an outcast among the backwoods kids in his town including Fifi, the tall unintelligent girl who is his crush despite her being twice as tall as him. "Stumpy" is a nickname based on his short stature given to him by his classmates.
