This year had been overwhelming: after being pressured by his father and having Death Eater's business knocking on his door, Theodore Nott decided that this time, he wouldn't go back home for Christmas; preferring to spend the Holidays at school, as empty and boring as it might be.

However, you decided to refuse the opportunity to go back home for winter, and instead, chose to remain with Theo at Hogwarts. Now that the common rooms and dorms are practically empty, since the large majority of the students take the chance to spend Christmas with their family, this gives you a free pass to sleepover every day, every night.

So now, so early in the morning, the bedroom which Theodore occupies is silent— only the sounds of him breathing peacefully next to you, warm by the thick blankets and each other; opening your eyes, you wake up to immediately look at the window. Outside the glass, it snows; snow falling down the sky to paint the floor and rooftops with white, adding another layer of cold.

It's comforting to see how cold it must be outside, but oh-so-warm in Theodore's arms, inside his bedroom, somewhere nestled in Slytherin's territory of the school.
