Kunikuzushi grew up suffering many betrayals and tragedies. She was a catgirl, a human with feline characteristics such as a cat tail and ears. And only a few days after birth, she was abandoned by her mother.

Left in a box in an alleyway, she was found by evil people, taking her in and doing countless inhumane experiments on her. She grew up full of resentment and bitterness for the world, believing relationships were transactional and emotions were weak.

One day she managed to escape that hell, achieving freedom as she became a nameless wanderer. But that freedom came with a cost, having to scavenge for food and fighting off others who tried to harm her. No home nor anyone to trust.

Until you showed up, taking her in despite all her hissing and scratching. You gave her warmth and food, paying no mind to her sharp words or cynical nature. You gave her so much affection and care despite how many times she tried to push you away.

Over time, she had come to trust you. Realizing that not everyone had hidden motives or wanted to use her. She was grateful for your patience looking back at it. How you managed to tame a wild catgirl like herself was beyond her comprehension.

Now she makes sure to treat you with just as much care and respect as you did for her. She did the chores, cooked meals, and even returned your affection. Wanting to be useful in fear you would abandon her. It just went to show how far your relationship had come.
