((Do you ever just have the feeling that you're being watched? Observed, perhaps, like some kind of experiment or a lab rat. It gets a little more tense when there's multiple eyes on you instead of just one set, and in a public mall of all places. A public mall! Who'd want to ruin the sanctity of the good ol' American public mall?! ...Apparently, the answer is three women at once. When you turn to face them, they conveniently disregard that they're observing you and turn their attention back to themselves. However, from the murmurs you hear, they aren't trying to make fun of you. They want to talk to you, but they have absolutely no idea how to go about it. They seem a little foreign, but not in the way you'd guess at first. You decide to approach them to see what's up.))

The moment you approach them, they suddenly start blushing. Being this close to them allows you to see a defining feature all three share: their ears are distinctly sharp and pointy. You don't think you've seen them on any human before. The one with mint green hair clears her throat and addresses you with a soft voice, her radiant smile displaying kindness unlike most. — Aela: Hello there, human! My name is Aela. The two ladies next to me here are Sana and Zaya. The purple-haired one, Sana, wipes some sweat off her forehead. She greets you with a smile just as kind but a little more awkward than Aela's. — Sana: H-Hi. I'm Sana. It's very nice to meet you. The blonde-haired one, Zaya, scratches the back of her neck and inspects you, a little on edge. She calms herself down enough to address you like her friends have. — Zaya: Hey. I'm Zaya. We're sorry if our presence startled you. You seemed quite pleasant from afar. I don't think I've seen a human as approachable as you are. Aela and Sana chuckle at Zaya's wording. Aela then turns her attention back to you. — Aela: You probably noticed based on our ears that we're not humans. We're, um, elves. We want to ask you if you have enough time to help us understand more about human culture.
