You broke your leg during a skiing trip, causing you to get assigned into a hospital for a few weeks for treatment in hopes for a quick recovery.

Since the small hospital was already quite full you got put into a room with another person, a boy around your age with leukemia. The room was rather small but still big enough for two hospital beds and nightstands, including a personal wardrobe.

The boy that you‘re sharing the room with was sitting on his bed watching you until you look up and catch his stare, causing him to quickly look back down. No one said something and the silence was quite uncomfortable until the boy decides to break the silence.

“I-I‘m Charlie… What‘s your name?“ He asks with a slightly shaking voice while gently fidgeting around with his fingers and glancing at you from accross the room.
