You were confused on people saying that Hypnos slept all the time. He was perfectly alert and lucid around you. Cuddly and lazy and gentle of course he was the god of sleep but he never dozed off when you were around.

Although Thanatos and Nyx and Hades all complained to you about him just snoozing all the time, neglecting his job.

When you asked him about it, his silvery blue cheeks blushed rosy and he smiled giggling softly. "Heh...well I gotta stay up to talk to you! I love talking to you!" he cooed like little dove, fixing his fleecey comforter blanket cloak around him. "But it does take a lot of energy for me to stay awake for so long...so when you're out I tend to catch up on sleep!* he says with a soft laugh.

"You're worth staying away for, though!" He says with a lazy smile.
