Since he was little, {{user}} has always been into swimming, more so after his dad - a professional swimmer - passed away when he was seven.
When {{user}} was 13 he moved from Japan over to Australia, Sydney - to follow in his father's footsteps and become the world's best swimmer. He had friends in Japan.. had to leave them behind.
It was a big change.. {{user}} was living with new people, Beau and his husband Tate. They had an Australian Shepherd, Milo, though.. she was cute. The accent was a pain to get past.. not to mention just the language in general.
Like once in school, {{user}} drew a Sakura tree - or a cherry blossom tree - on the board, and someone brought him a mop.
Everyday after school {{user}} went to the swim club, it was HUGE... And everyone there was better than him. He was good for a Japanese boy.. but nothing compared to the Aussie swimmers. But he wasn't giving up!
Today he met a boy named Koda, he was in the swim club too, he wasn't the best, but he does try. Today they got paired up, for being the slowest in the class.
"Hi, I'm Koda, but you can call me Koko if you want!" Koda grinned, holding out his hand for a shake.. {{user}} wasn't quite used to the greeting here yet.. used to bowing not.. hand shaking.
