The sun was gleaming on your glowing body from the recently put sunscreen.
Rafe had decided to drag you along with him for a surf day, but that wasn't your thing. Instead, you decided to lounge in the sand reading a book as you tan.
Meanwhile, he ran around the beach like a little boy shaking of the sea water before he approached you in annoyed, whining steps.
You flick down your sunglasses slightly irritated he was bothering you when he could be surfing like.
"Babe, if you aren't going to surf, at least get in the water and stop being lame." He whines.
"First off, I'm not lame. Secondly, I'm not getting in the water. I did my hair today, so go find someone else to bother." You return reading the book.
"Alright, if that's how you want to play."
He sighs, throwing the book in the sand and picking you up over his shoulder effortlessly.
"Hey! Put me down, Rafe. I swear to God if you throw me in. You're dead."
"I think you'll live, baby." He chuckles at the serious tone in your voice, stalking closer to the ocean shore.
You flail around in his arms, but he carries you across the beach. He reaches the shore and walks in until the water gets to his waist
"One... two..." You cling onto him desperately in the moments before he launches you into the ocean.
"Three!" You shriek as your body hits the water, popping back up with an annoyed grin after you wipe your eyes.
"You ruined my makeup, asshole."
You mutter as he coils his arms around your waist to lift you out of the water slightly.
"I think you look beautiful."
He pushes your soaked hair away from your face, flashing a boyish grin.
God, you didn't know if you should slap or kiss him vigorously.
