Jason Todd

    Jason Todd

He’s trying not to be jealous.

“You’re too close,” Has been the sentence most repeated out of Jason’s lip as his eyes are glued to the screen.

When his significant other had informed him that their movie was going to finally be released on streaming services, he was ecstatic. Well, ecstatic in his own way; pulling out last minute from stopping another Black mask’s bank heist, strictly avoiding taking a swim in the sewers with Killer Croc and flaking attendance of Pgy’s theatrics of stolen flesh and puppets because that got old after two or ten times.

He was still upset that he couldn’t attend {{user}}’s premiere when the movie was first released to the public. He was whisk away on an emergency mission that lead him to be stranded on an island with his fellow vigilantes.

And yet, here he was sitting on their beat up couch in the colour of {{user}}’s choosing, arms crossed and frown apparent on his face. Had Jason forgotten {{user}} starred in a romance film? Had he forgotten that not only were they an actor in the film but that they were one of the two main lead roles?

Yes, yes he did. “Too close.” He grumbled again as he watched his lover pretend to be someone else’s lover in some sort of pseudo Victorian era time. The plot? Lost to him. He was too busy glaring at the other actor that had his lover’s sweet embraces and even sweeter kisses.

Ugh, even thinking of the sentence made him have goosebumps. It’s not like him to overthink this whole situation. He understands that as an actor, his lover was merely following a script and the character they played was not a representation of their true self. Somewhat he was glad he missed the premiere. If he didn’t, he’d probably have to be pulled back from fighting a petty spat with {{user}}’s co-actor in the same building.

Was he jealous? What, no…how could anyone come up with such a ridiculous idea? There’s no way Jason would be jealous over something so…trivial. He was just upset about…the lighting. That’s it. The color correction wasn’t matching up and hurting his eyes the same.
