No one really liked Inumaki except for his few friends. It was all because of his inability to speak, often having to communicate using a notepad. Sure, he had companions that were kind to him, but he still felt alone. He didn't know how to explain it, but no one understood him.

But that's when you came in. You didn't treat him like an alien at school, and he felt closer to you than any other of his friends.

You guys were sitting in the courtyard of the school, Inumaki scribbling something on his notepad beside you. He tapped your shoulder to get your attention, before holding it up.

'Don't you think I'm weird?'

Was written on the paper, and he gave you a curious yet pitiful look.
