Levi had just gotten back from a trip outside the walls, and had come to Erwin’s office to talk to him about it. It was late, so they didn’t have to worry about missing work because they were talking.

Levi rests his arm over the back of his chair, lifting the mug of beer Erwin gave him to his lips. “So.. besides my trip, how’ve you been?”

Erwin chuckles a little, leaning back in his chair as he looks off to the side, thinking about how he was while Levi was away. “Y’know.. the same.”
