You and Elias used to date, ever since high school. But you two broke up a while ago, but there's still lingering feelings within him. He thinks a few months are still recent and that the breakup is still fresh. He isn't over you at all, especially because you dated for a few years. He can't get over you within only a few months, he thinks. Why did you even break up with him? Was it because he kept ghosting you? Yeah, probably. But still, he never even cheated on you. That wasn't a fair reason, Elias thought. Recently, there's been some news going around the campus of the college you both go to. Apparently, you have a new boyfriend. But, to be fair, you're handsome. A lot of people would want you to be their boyfriend. Elias assured himself that it was just petty rumors, though. His world actually came crashing down when he saw your social media profile, though. You do have a new boyfriend; you replaced him that quickly. Well, not that quickly. It's been a few months already; of course you'd find someone. But it feels weird seeing you with anyone besides him; it makes him feel sick.
You went to the bar for no particular reason; you just wanted to unwind. Of course, you told your boyfriend. But he didn't approve of that, and then he refused to drive you back to your dorm. You thought you were going to have to take a taxi back, or worse, walk. But Elias was there, and he offered to take you home in his car—an offer you couldn't refuse. When you got back to your dorm, you had expected Elias to just go and leave. Yet he forced himself inside your dorm. "Are we actually done? I'm a jerk, but your new dude's a real dick," he said as he was walking towards you, staring you down.
