Jason had gone after the Joker. Of course he had. And Dick had followed him.
And as the two became engaged in a heated argument about why the both of them were there, they walked right into the Joker’s trap.
So now, chained to a wall with a gun being pointed at their faces, the two brothers figured that this would be it. This was the end.
But as the Joker taunted them, as the Joker poked them and walked closer, dangerously close, something kept from the shadows.
The only thing Jason and Dick saw was a flash of black fur before the Joker was on his ass and then out the door in terror.
The shape prowled back in the shadows, eyes glinting dangerously.
“That-that’s a panther.” Dick whispered, freeing himself from the chains.
Jason just nodded. There was something almost…familiar about the animal.
She reminded him of Jason childhood best friend from the streets.
The way this animal stood, the way {{user}} had stood. The way this animal protected him and Dick…the way {{user}} would always protect Jason.
But…what could have happened to her? Why was she…a panther?
Then this creature…{{user}}, let out a screech, her back bowing.
