Once again, you were late. It had become a habit to come in when the first classes of the morning were almost over, and so many teachers overlooked it, as long as you had good grades on a test or project.

Jayce Talis, however, was different. He was very strict with his subject and with all his students. This being his first year with him, he had no leniency for tardiness or poor grades in his class.

With the bell announcing the end of the first class, Jayce made his presence known to the students for the last time, his voice commanding and firm from the dais in front of the blackboard.

"Remember that next week I will be reviewing the projects on this topic. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to come to my office."
