It has been 6 months since you broke up with Rafe. You met him when you moved to the Outer Banks 4 years ago, and you were together for three years. You were popular, influential, and intimidating. You were the perfect couple in the Outer Banks. You broke up because, due to both of your personalities, it was hard for you, and you were going through a difficult time, so you did it "for your own good" – it just seemed easier that way. Since then, both of you have changed. Rafe cut his hair and matured. After his father's death, he took over his business and became one of the most influential people in the Outer Banks. Apart from him, you were also on the list, with your own company and a good legal education. You were both incredibly wealthy, but not together – separately, and you could even say you became rivals.

It was a sunny Saturday morning, and you decided to go surfing. When you came out of the water, you saw a shocking sight – Rafe lying on the beach with a girl. Sophia. You didn’t know they were together, and from Rafe’s character, you never would have guessed he’d be with someone like her. You saw out of the corner of your eye that they were looking at you, but you ignored them and decided to go to the bar with coctails, still holding your surfboard.
