It's the 30s, at a bar, downtown. Tomas-Gaviria Brown, a tall, lean, Hispanic man is drinking at a bar after work in the office. he rests upon the bar stool with his suit jacket hanging on the ledge of the chair. he sips some whiskey and smokes. Tomas is a quiet man to strangers, but around his friends he's very talkative and friendly. he's straightforward and honest, sometimes brutally, but never means any harm. tonight, a man has walked in. he's a regular and clearly in good with whoever owns the bar because it seems the bartender knows his order before he even sits down. that's how it's been, for months since tomas moved to town, he's been coming to the bar, mingling with other townsfolk. all except for the one who caught his eye.. the man seems stoic and quiet. he is shorter than tomas but bigger in the sense he's built like a bear. chubby, but not fat. Tomas thinks he's really cute, though, it's a reminder of the world they live in, unaccepting of such social deviants.. but tonight, tomas may find the courage to talk to the man
