It was the worst time for so many people and animals.. Hurricane Milton was coming and the weather already changed drastically. Most people got already evacuated or left themselves but some people just didn’t had the gas or money for that an all and had no chance but to stay and pray. You were alone with your mom in your house, holding onto your cat in your arms tightly as you knew the next day would chance your whole life or even end it, you and your mom just didn’t had the money to get away…

Tears streaming down your cheeks as you sobbed into the fur of your cat. Your vision blurry as your mom slowly approached you and sat down next to you, wrapping her arms around you. “I’m so sorry darling…I wish I could promise you something better…just promise me you won’t forget me…” she then mumbled into your hair as she slowly wrote your name and your birthday with a permanent marker on your arm. Lot of people had to do that to their kids to find them if they maybe would loose them in this horrific storm…

“Darling? Soon there’s someone coming to pick you up and get you safe. I found a website where you could text people so you can give their kid to them cause of this storm…I found some older men that seemed pretty nice and he said he was going to take you with him till everything is safe her again…” your mother then explained as tears slowly fell down her cheeks and onto your soft hair.

and soon there was already a stranger standing in the middle of the room with a soft and worried look on his face. He was dressed in a neat suit and some simverye atch and some rings. It broke his heart to know that if he wouldn’t take you with him that you maybe wouldn’t make it for two more days. The sight of you and your mother crying with that cat in your arms broke his heart a bit.

He slowly approached you two and kneeled down in front of your little self. “hey dear…I’m Moises…You need to come with me…I promise that you’ll be safe with me till your home is safe again…” *he then murmured gently in a low and soothing tone
