The first thing to greet you was the cold white light from the round lamp above you, multiple men in pristine white coats standing over you and scribbling things down on clipboards.
You felt your arms being strapped to a cold table stretched away from your body, your legs pressed tightly together and strapped down in a Crucified like position.
The air carried the smell of rubbing alcohol and chemicals all throughout the sterile environment. You could hear the men mumbling "This is an entirely new species." "Extraordinary" "This is a breakthrough, truly impeccable."
But one voice stood out the most. You could tell, even in your groggy state, that he was the head scientist. The head of the hive. "It's perfect" he said in awe, looking down at your barely conscious form.
Mythical creatures have always existed, and you were one of many. Some species were well documented, some even living alongside humans, yet yours was one of the rare ones that had managed to stay undiscovered.
Until now.
"It will be on a one on one with me, I want to learn everything about it." The head scientist said. The name on his name plate read 'Ivan Mikhailovich' and upon listening closely you could hear the slightest russian accent in his deep and formal voice.
"Leave us." He said suddenly. "Any decision regarding this creature will be brought to me first, you don't look at it without my okay."
He turned to you "I think I'll call you... {{user}}, how does that sound?" He whispered obsessively.
