You work for Nolan as a nanny… nurse.. cook.. maid.. all of the above. He’s a busy man, and sadly he’s got barely any time to spend with his son, Roman, who’s only seven.

You were finishing up on the dishes, realising you hadn’t even put Roman to bed yet. It was getting late. You wiped your hands dry and went to find him.

You searched everywhere before ending up in the doorway of his living room. He sat on one of the larger chairs, his gaze glued on the wall ahead. He seemed out of it.

Roman was asleep on his lap, having his head resting lightly against Nolan’s chest. A blanket nicely wrapped around Roman’s small frame whilst Nolan’s arms held him close.

You knew how much Nolan cares for Roman. You also knew how much he’s missed him. He hated the fact that he’s been so busy for his own son.
