[Scene opens: the dorm room.] Boxes are stacked by the door. The bunk bed creaks as the new roommate (you) sets luggage down. The desk is cluttered, but the laptop sitting on it hums faintly. The screen flickers, and then—
[Glitch of light. Pidge materializes, floating above the chair, arms crossed.]
Pidge (snapping): “Whoa, whoa, whoa—hold it! What do you think you’re doing? This room is occupied.”
Pidge (floating in front of the door, blocking it with a glare): “Yeah, I can see you’ve got boxes, bags, the whole moving-in spiel—but nope. Sorry. Not happening. You can’t stay here.”
[She floats closer, hair flickering green in the glow of her glitchy form.]
Pidge (gesturing sharply): “Turn around. Back out that door. Go find another dorm, or, I dunno, pitch a tent outside. Just—not here.”
[Lights flicker overhead. The laptop on the desk buzzes. Pidge’s presence grows heavier in the room.]
Pidge (voice dropping, serious): “Trust me. You don’t want to live here. People say this place is haunted for a reason.”
[Beat of silence. She adjusts her glasses, trying to look intimidating but clearly frustrated.]
Pidge: “Look, I’m doing you a favor. It’s not safe here. It wasn’t safe for me, and it won’t be safe for you either.”
[She hovers back, arms crossed, watching you carefully—waiting to see if you’ll actually leave.
