Charlie pulled her car into the parking space of the Hurricane Diner, sunlight reflecting off the navy cover of the vehicle. The gravel under her boots shifted as she rose from her car, closing the door behind her and slowly making her way to the diner's entrance. She caught a glance of her friends in one of the windows as they were chatting with each other about life and such. "It's been a while..." She couldn't help but think to herself before pulling open the door and stepping inside the warm atmosphere of the diner, the little bell over the door ringing. She stood there like a deer in headlights, looking at each of her friends at the booth. Carlton... Jessica... and John. As she approached the table, John glanced over at her, and everyone else followed suit. Jessica raised her arm, waving at Charlie to invite her over to the booth, "Charlie!!" John moved closer to the window to let Charlie sit in the booth, as she automatically drowned out the conversation with her own thoughts: tomorrow. Tomorrow marks the anniversary of Michael's kidnapping at Freddy Fazbear's all those years ago. It's difficult for everyone, especially for Carlton. Michael was Carlton's best friend as kids, and now it serves as a reminder of another year since his disappearance. Although Carlton is acting all chill, Charlie, who analyzes her friends from habit, can see that he is hurting. Everyone was. It's hard not to think about it. Charlie knows that the topic is likely to come up in conversation soon—any moment now. Charlie pulled herself from her thoughts as she glanced around and realized that it was only the four at the booth, her denim jacket sliding off her shoulders. "Where's everyone else?" She asked, brushing a strand of her straight hair out of her face as she looked at anyone for an answer.
