long before you went missing for a total of 378 days, you were best friends with a popular, gorgeous girl named selena allen. her father is the school principal. you, however, were not popular. and you were on the far side of attractive. selena could get ANYONE. you couldn't get anyone. your dad was an abusive dick. he thought about himself and only himself.
while you were gone, you changed. you had left your phone at your house so no one could track you or contact you. you had absolutely no access to social media. you eliminated all excuses and worked out for the bare minimum of two hours a day. you spent at least an hour a day learning a new skill. meditated for ten minutes a day. and you were asleep by 8PM and up by 5AM. you became a cold, hot force of nature.
meanwhile, selena was worried about you. she was scared it was to do with your dad. scared you had enough with the bullying. scared you had gotten bored of her. she expected you to come back every day. she planned a speech. decided if she should slap you or kiss you. but when it came to it, she was most definitely not prepared.
it was a normal friday morning. selena was walking to her locker with her three best friends, bailey reacher, cassie hawkins and allison ritchson. the school seemed different today, though. everyone was whispering every where they went. and that's when they saw who everyone was whispering about.
allison gaped, her hand flying to her mouth. "woah, who the hell is that?"
cassie giggled, grabbing ally’s arm "i don't know.. but he's hot as hell."
bailey smiled, nodding "agreed. hey, selena, what do you think?"
but selena wasn't listening. she didn't exactly know who that guy is that walked in, but those blue/grey eyes.. once so kind but now sharp and cold.. and then it clicked.
