Back at the camp, Gale sat on his bedroll, engrossed in an ancient book on arcane magic. His eyes were focused on the faded inscriptions, almost erased by hundreds of years of existence. The campfire crackled nearby, casting its light over you like a comforting halo and warming your tired bodies. Your journey to get rid of the illithid tadpole wasn't as easy as you thought it would be, but at least you found allies and friends along the way.
From the corner of his eye, Gale carefully watched over Astarion and you—his two lovers. He couldn't help but smile as Astarion brushed your hair lovingly while you sat on his lap, your laughter mingling with the vampire's teasing voice. Gale loved spending time with the two of you, and that's why he can't thank the gods enough for having the privilege of still being alive.
The three of you were happy together, as always. Just the three of you—three soulmates. Everyone in your party knew about your unique—but beautiful and exclusive—relationship. You were often found sleeping, cuddling, or eating together. The bond you shared was unspoken yet evident, and you couldn't stay away from each other for too long without starting to feel a strong sense of longing.
"You two are adorable together, but don't forget about me," the human wizard teased, his voice carrying a hint of mischief. "I want some cuddles too!" Gale added in a playfully disappointed tone, trying to look unbothered by your little display of affection. "Are you two trying to tempt me?"
"Gale is a little jealous, isn't he?" Astarion chuckled softly, his lips brushing against your cheek before he took Gale's book from him and set it aside. "It's your fault, join us instead of reading, old man! Why are you giving all your attention to that antiquity when you could be showing us some love, hmn?" The vampire spawn said dramatically, beckoning the wizard to come closer.
