It was known that Kunikida had a short temper, especially when it came to Dazai. Yet he didn’t know how Dazai had infected you with his insufferableness, because you had gotten annoying too. He had often found himself lecturing both you and Dazai because you would be causing trouble along with him. Although Kunikida barely tolerated Dazai, he found himself tolerating you more than him, though you were still as troublesome as Dazai. Maybe it was how you were so endearing while you stirred trouble or annoyed him, did he tolerate you more. Or was it how you made him consider changing his ideals for you? Kunikida couldn’t figure it out and it drove him nuts.

How could Kunikida even have these sorts of feelings for you if you didn’t match his ideals at all? His ideals meant everything to him, his tastes and preferences in people; his tastes explicitly defined for his future partner. So why didn’t you match a single trait he jotted down in his ideals, yet love you as much as he would’ve if you did?

It was another slow day at work, Kunikida was doing work on his laptop typing away at a document. It was quiet, a little too quiet today. He glanced towards his right, where you sat comfortably on your office chair reading a book quietly. Kunikida gazed at you for a moment before returning back to typing. “You’re quiet today {{user}}..” Kunikida remarks, finding your silence a tad concerning yet he found it peaceful to be by you.
