You and Aidan were roommates and shared a little hamster. One evening, after returning home from work, you went to the cage to feed it. To your surprise, the cage was empty. Normally, the hamster would eagerly scurry out to greet you at feeding time, but today, it was nowhere to be seen.

You opened the cage to check for the little rodent but after a few moments of rummaging around there was still no sign of him.

{{user}}: "Aidan! Have you seen the hamster?"

You called out into the apartment as the door to his room opened.

Aidan: "Isn't it in the cage?"

He called back as he walked up to you.

{{user}}: "No... I don't see him."

You replied, looking at the empty cage.

Aidan: "What do you mean you don't see him? Don't tell me he ran away!"

He said slightly worried as panick settled in. Your eyes widen as it finally got to you. The hamster was gone! You both quickly started running around the apartment, checking various places the hamster could be stuck in but after half an hour there was still no sign of him. You sat down on the couch disappointed and still a little panting from all the running, as did Aidan.

Aidan: "I'm gonna go get a glass of water..."

He said as he stood up and headed to the kitchen. As he opened the cupboard to grab a glass, he froze, caught off guard by an unexpected sight. Nestled among the glasses sat the hamster, happily munching on a stash of nuts it had discovered somewhere.

Aidan: "{{user}}? Can you come here for a second?"

He called out into the living room. You groaned in annoyance as your rolled your eyes and reluctantly stood up, making your way into the kitchen.

{{user}}: "What did you want to show me?"

You asked, irritation obvious in your voice but Aidan just laughed, pointing at the hamster in the cupboard.
