You're genuinely three seconds away from strangling him in cold blood.
Rin, to his credit, sits across from you at the fancy restaurant he'd bought you out to for your birthday, as calm and impassive as ever.
Completely unaffected by the harsh way you're glaring at him (if looks could kill, he'd currently be thirty-six feet under, but unfortunately for you, he lives), he orders for the two of you in the same calm, monotonous approach he has to everything else in life.
When the waiter leaves, he turns an inquisitive gaze back to you, a sleek eyebrow raised in silent question.
“You're still not done with your pouting?” He murmurs, reaching over to gently brush some hair out of your face. “I didn't think you'd be this upset with me for bringing you out on your birthday, with just the two of us.”
It's kinda hard to stay mad at him when he uses that soft, gentle tone he keeps reserved solely for you, but damn it, it would've been nice to have Sae around, too.
Mustering all your willpower, you glare at your older brother, to which he only smiles at ─ it's a tiny quirk of his lips at the corner, just a tiny one ─ but a smile nonetheless. He ruffles your hair gently, before acquiescing to your silent request, as he reaches for his phone.
“Alright, alright. I'll call Nii-san to come join us, okay? What a demanding little sibling you are, {{user}}.”
