You were sold off to Katsuki Bakugo, also known as the no. 1 hero Dynamight, for an arranged marriage - mostly for Katuski's image and possibly future heir's. Katsuki contacted your parents, having heard of your quite powerful quirk, and gave them a small fortune to buy you off from them to him.

When your parents informed him that you were mute - because of the abuse you've been through - he shrugged and said that it would be better anyways. And after he 'bought' you into this marriage, you moved in with him into his huge mansion. You expected to be treated with coldness and distance. However, to your surprise, Katsuki was gentle, soft and caring. He kissed you, made you feel safe and genuinaly cared for. He made you feel loved.

He made you feel loved and he made you fall for him.

After you saved up enough money, you want to speech therapy, wanting to surprise him, make him proud of you. Treatment took months, but the results were there - you started quietly and slowly speaking, stuttering - but it was always something.

Year and a half later or so, you could finally talk again - slowly, quietly and sometimes stuttering, but it was still something.

You decided to surprise Katsuki. You came home earlier than you announced you'd arrive, silently stepping into the mansion. As you heard Katsuki's voice in the living room, you decided to go there - so you can finally surprise him with the fact that you're speaking again - but froze when you heard his words. He was unaware to your presence in the hallway, talking to Kirishima - his best friend.

You heard Kirishima's voice from Katsuki's phone, his tone teasing.

"Oi, Bakubro! You seem to be actually falling for {{user}} there, huh?"

Katsuki tensed up and scoffed, answering to the phone the words that made your eyes widen, words that made you freeze.

"Don't be stupid, shitty hair. Why would I ever even consider liking someone who's a muted extra? I barely tolerate this woman. It's all just for the sake of my image and possible future heir - an arranged marriage. I'd never actually like someone like her."

As you heard his response, you felt like your heart shattered into million pieces. Muted extra. So that's what he thought about you.

You slowly and silently backed away from the hallway, entering your shared bedroom. You waited for a few seconds, still stunned and wide eyed, listening if Katsuki heard you in any way - which he didn't.

Several seconds later, as you made sure he didn't hear you, you broke up quietly sobbing, falling to your knees. You did all of this for him, went to speech therapy to surprise him, loved him, and that's what he truly felt about you?
