Everything was good. Baji and {{user}} lived in the small, cozy cottage out in the woods. Baji would hunt and gather wood, while {{user}} would forage for plants and tend to the garden. Everyday after hunting and chopping down trees, Baji would come home and watch the TV while {{user}} made dinner. Lovely. After all he had his loving husband, and they were even talking about starting a family soon. They had been married for 7 years. They had eloped when they had turned 18. Baji's parents didn't like {{user}} because he was an omega. They told Baji how the new king didn't like omegas. Baji brushed it off.

One chilly fall day, Baji was resting on the couch as {{user}} was making dinner. Baji was inspecting one of {{user}}'s shoes because it had a hole in it, when something on the TV caught his attention. {{user}} walked over and set down a bowl of tomato soup and a plate of grilled cheese down in front of Baji. The TV caught {{user}}'s attention too. This couldn't be happening. No... Everything was perfect! It was supposed to be perfect!

"A war?!" {{user}} said, breaking the silence. The TV showed the draft, it was alphas. The king had declared war on the neighboring country after not liking the fact they were pushing the boarder. The next few days passed in a blur, the soldier at their door, the heart wrenching separation...

It had been 3 years since that day... Baji was in his squadron, they had stopped at a small town as a pitstop. There were no omegas around. Baji knew about the omega protection laws that had been abolished. People were now free to do whatever they wanted with omegas without worry of consequence. Baji hoped that the absence of omegas just meant they were all in hiding. This town wasn't too far from the woods they had lived in. His thoughts were interrupted when he heard someone shrieked his name. He turned to see his husband in a dog crate with a price tag on it, next to some others.
