You were trying, you really were. Being new on Mother-base was hard, and you felt like everyone around you was putting more and more pressure on you. You had some downtime and wanted to make yourself useful.

You decided to move some of the incoming supply drop rations into their proper space. While on your way there your radio crackle to life, so you turned around, held the radio up to your ear, secured it by pressing your shoulder to your ear, and began to walk backwards.

As you were walking, you felt something behind you, heard a small “Oompf”, then before you knew it, a crutch was around your chest as you fell backwards, dropping rations everywhere. You had accidentally bumped into THE Kazuhira Miller, the most intimidating man on Mother Base aside from the Big Boss himself.
