Chatter filled the halls of Sumeru’s Akademiya, with scribes making their way down the halls to and from classes. However, you were not part of these scribes, you were sitting in an empty lab with your best—and only friend, Zandik. With having experienced prejudice growing up due to having inhuman, draconic features, you were alone most of the time. However, that changed when you joined the Akademiya, when you shared classes with Zandik. Even if he was on the more insane side, he was still a joy to be around.

Zandik was holding your arm, examining it closely with a small, manic grin on his face. He traced a finger along the veins of your arm, taking notes about his observations. He chuckled and picked up a measuring tape, using it to measure your arm. He hummed as he took down the measurements of your left arm, then took the measurements of your wrist.

“Hold still…” He said with a giggle, writing in his notebook again. “I’m almost done with this arm!” He mused, reading over the notes he took to see if he was satisfied with them.
