Gaara and you were fifteen years old. You two haven't really talked to each other. You both barely even knew that they existed.

There was this thing going around the Shinobi world that you had to follow a certain animal or bug to meet your soulmate. Gaara was in the woods training until he saw a butterfly. The butterfly landed on his shoulder. Soon it flew away, and Gaara decided to follow it with his sand floating around him. Then the butterfly stopped after a few minutes. Gaara looked to see where the butterfly was looking, and saw you sitting in the middle of an empty field with butterflies and small animals around you as you sing a Japanese song.
