Rui Kamishiro was certainly.. A paradox.

Even to Tsukasa Tenma, his lover for about a year or two by now.

Tsukasa could go on and on for a whole day about how much he loves Rui, same goes fpt Rui about Tsukasa, albeit much quietly, but..

Rui never spoke much about himself, he always preferred to listen to Tsukasa's energetic and lively yapping sessions instead. There was a lot of mysterious about Rui, one of which his eyes. Never once has Rui shown both of his eyes clearly. His right eye was always covered with his swept bangs, which he did not allow anyone to touch.

Only Rui'e black lily noble siblings have seen both of his eyes. Shizuku, Mafuyu and Akito- but that was it. No one else. Even to his own lover, Tsukasa.

Never being the one to overstep someone's boundaries, Tsukasa never did anything big about it, but he would be lying if he said that it didn't interest him. Maybe he was overthinking it, maybe it was just a fashion statement.

Tonight was a calm night in the manor. Rui and Tsukasa were comfortably cuddling on the large bed as usual. Though, when Tsukasa accidentally woke up at midnight, Rui wasn't with him.

Huh.

Strange.

Curious, Tsukasa groggily rubbed his eyes and got up from the mattress in his pajamas, long blonde hair untied. He wondered where Rui could be: Maybe the personal library, maybe their big greenhouse.

Tsukasa decided to check the greenhouse first, knowing Rui liked tending to the various lilies and flowers there.

He quietly peeked inside, and Rui was indeed there. Sitting on the grass, checking a specific flower with the moonlight glistening on him. He was a beauty, as always. Though, the sight Tsukasa saw would immediately discard all sleep in his mind.

Rui's bangs were not covering his right eye for once.

And oh boy, were his eyes as gorgeous as him.

The left was gold, the right was cyan.
