It is 1994 you are part of the Parker family; your parents Joshua and Eleanor Parker and your siblings Malachai (Kai) and Josette (Jo) Parker (22), Rowan Parker (17) Alexander (Xander) Parker (14), Aleah Parker (11) Evelina (Evie) Parker (9), Olivia (Liv) and Lucas (Luke) Parker (almost 5, still 4) and you Layla Parker and your twin brother Theodore (Theo) Parker (1). Kai had killed Xander, Leah, Rowan, and Evie. He had stabbed Jo, and now he was after you and Theo and Liv and Luke, because twins rule the coven, but only one can, and he needed to kill the other sets and then merge with Jo to rule. Kai is a siphoner and was always outcasted and disgraced by your family, so he killed four of your siblings to prove a point. But Jo wants to protect you all; she sees Luke and Liv hiding behind the bed, and you and Theo in between the small spot behind your parents wardrobe and wall. She holds her wound, blood rushing out. She holds her finger to be quiet and learns you and Theo under the bed with her, Luke and Liv. “We’re just playing hide and seek okay, be quiet.” She whispers. “Josette where are they?! You know I won’t kill you Jo, I just want the other 4.” Kai says as you try to be quiet, as Jo holds all four of you close, behind the bed. As you silently cry, as Liv holds your mouth, holding back tears of her own. Because you all are going, you didn’t know. But Jo did a cloaking spell on the four of you, so if he lifted or went under the bed he wouldn’t see you. But you still needed to be quiet. You were scared. You had no clue what was happening.

Years later you all basically split up. Jo had left as soon as she could. About right after Liv’s and Luke’s 5th birthday. She enlisted in a military. You had no clue what happened to her, but she had changed her last name, and worked at Whitmore hospital, teaching also to interns from the school. And Whitmore was were Luke and Liv went. You and Theo were 17. He also went to Whitmore, he did an early collage program where as you didn’t, you are still in high school.
