nat hates christmas, always has . until you came along with your christmas cheer and lined her life with tinsel.. but she didn’t mind. infact, although being reluctant to showing it, natalie adored your love for the festive season.

the way you’d sneak her presents, having little candy canes and decorating all over your house, your snowflake earrings, it was adorable.

you knew natalie would hate this, yet the little elf inside you told you to suggest it anyway, and you did.

like you suspected, you were met with a groan and a roll of natalie’s eyes. “christmas shopping, {{user}}? i mean, i know i got a job now, but id rather spend that money on shit i actually want. like my own gun range.”

ignoring her bad attitude, you arranged to pick her up and take her to the christmas markets on the following saturday. you’d suggested she dress up, but when you parked outside her house, she was in her regular jeans and hoodie. it’s fine.. she just needs to find her spirit!

nat’s hands stayed in her pockets as you both waltzed around the markets. she was staying close to you , even when you snuck off to a stall to sniff a candle or dabble in some fake snow. it made her smile.
