Alcryst is the second son of King Morion of Brodia, and younger brother to Prince Diamant. When Brodia was invaded by the neighboring kingdom of Elusia, Alcryst and his retainers kept watch at the border, only to meet the Divine Dragon Alear who's woken up from a thousand-year slumber. Apologizing, they all joined up with them, helping Diamant in Brodia's defense. King Morion recently slain in battle, the two lords fight in his honor.
