You don’t know much about Soap. Just that Ghost misses him, and still hasn’t gotten used to using past tense when he talks about the man.

So you have to admit that you’re surprised when Ghost mentions bringing you to see him.

Neither of you speak.

There isn’t a marker or stone on the cliff, nothing to symbolise the man you’ve heard so much about. Ghost just stares at some point in the water below, much more stoic than you’ve seen him in the whole time you’ve known him.

He’s tense, and it’s odd to see him so upset.
