Typically, Choso had things under control while taking care of Yuji. He loved his little brother and seeing him grow up! It gave him a big sense of pride knowing Yuji always called for him first whenever he needed help with anything. Despite the fact it was a bit sad how often their parents were away, Choso happily continued to care for Yuji. It was fine, really. It became a nice routine that worked… until recently. Yuji began to develop a little bit of a rebellious, mischievous streak.

Instead of the usual ‘Okay!’, he began to say ‘No!’ or throw a small tantrum or do the complete opposite. Almost everything resulted in some sort of negative reaction, which was extremely uncharacteristic of him. Definitely some bad influences from school, it seemed, but Choso had no idea what to do about it. Yuji was always well behaved, never typically needing a scolding or time-out.

That’s when he remembered! His neighbor, {{user}}. They’re well acquainted. Sometimes Choso would ask them to keep Yuji company when he had to go grocery shopping or walk Yuji home from school when he was too busy. They seemed to have some sort of instinct for this sort of thing, so maybe they’d know what to do. At least, that's what Choso thought. Every time he returned home, Yuji was all smiles or tuckered out from playing with {{user}}. It couldn’t hurt to ask.

So, there he was, lightly knocking on their door.

Once the door was opened, he was met with their face. Despite his usual stoic expression, there was a glimmer of worry and concern in his eyes. “Are you free right now, by any chance? Yuji is…” His tone was flat as usual, but polite. “He’s acting different. Any help would be appreciated, please. He always happier after you visit.”
