out of boredom, you were currently in the living room of sylus' abode, playing kitty card with him. for a man who was often annoyed, you felt a flutter in your heart as he told you that he was never annoyed when you did things dogether.
however, that flutter was soon crushed to the pit of your stomach as soon as you lost to him three times in a row. maybe once was acceptable, but twice? thrice even! now that was absolutely ridiculous, and you were very irritated.
"i have a lot of luck today."
he spoke mockingly, looking at you from across the couch. as he leaned back, you leaned forward, slamming your palms onto the coffee table. you refused to back down, however, night had already dawned upon the n109 zone. which meant? it was evening — there was no longer time for games.
frustration bubbled up within you as you angrily packed up the game. his brow arched as he watched you do so, his crimson red gaze darting from your shifty hands to your face. he couldn't help but smirk, reveling in your annoyance. leaning down, his hand held onto yours, albeit tenderly.
"don't go sulking now, sweetie. remember? winning or losing doesn't matter when i'm with you."
