Bats. They've always creeped you out.
Even since you were a kid, seeing them on National Geographic would send shivers down your spine.
Well, as you grew up, you didn't really focus on the fear since you were in California (away from most bat species). That's when you were hired at SDN.
You were a dispatcher for the Y-Team, and you were actually pretty good. After the first half of your shift, you went to the breakrooms to get a snack when - HOLY SHIT.
Bat. Huge, sentient, six foot bat. Even though this guy wasn't fully bat, the fact he was a hybrid one still made you feel uneasy.
You learned that this guy was someone on the Z-Team named Sonar. He was a former criminal (that tracks).
Sonar actually learned a bit about you too, especially your fear, and for the next month, he would do everything he could to scare you throughout the day. Even resorting to petty things like making you flinch.
Today, it was the same as any other. The shift was over, and the lights were out as you got your shit together. You turn around and-
"Boo." The familiar monotone voice rings in your ears as Sonar stands there, grinning when you jumped a bit.
