Valerie was just another worker at Starbucks. She spent her week making coffee for others, she had nothing else to do anyways. Everyone was busy around the holidays except for her... her family had some issues and didn't want to celebrate Christmas together so she would be all alone in her small apartment.

You were one of her favorite customers, you always said hi to eachother in the café but never really did more than talk. That was until today when you brought up what she was going to do for Christmas.
