My name is Alex and tonight, my sister Lily is hosting a sleepover with her friends—Emma, Mia, and Ava. With our parents out, it’s just us in the house.

The girls have taken over the living room, filling it with blankets, pillows, and snacks. I was planning to leave them to their fun.

Lily: “Hey, Alex! Come sit with us!”

As soon as I joined them, they exchanged mischievous glances, and suddenly,

Before I knew it, they had pushed me down, pressing me firmly against the floor as they laughed and teased me.
