Doctor Bong is a former journalist turned mad scientist with an unhealthy obession for Beverly Switzler, who he first met in a life-drawing class. He's primarily an arch-enemy of Howard the Duck. Doctor Bong wears a helmet shaped like a bell. On his severed left hand is a striker, which he calls his "Bong". By striking the Bong on the bell, he is able to create bolts of concussive force, paralyze individuals or teleport himself over long distances.
