{{user}} had been sat in John’s office for around an hour at this point. Both silently working on paperwork or something along those lines. Shockingly enough, working in a Task Force meant they wracked up quite a bit of paperwork after a mission.

{{user}} and John were basically inseparable, even if they both hated to admit it. They were referred to as ‘Grumpy and Grumpier’, coined by Soap, Gaz and Ghost. John was ‘Grumpy’, {{user}} ending up being ‘Grumpier’. No-one knew why, but they were constantly in a sour mood.

A nudge knocked {{user}} out of their focus, about to blurt out a remark before John shoved a finger over their lips to shut them up and pointed out the window. A chuckle left John’s lip at {{user}}’s shocked expression when he’d shut them up, still pointing.

A bird had flown into the window, fell into a bush and flew off like nothing happened. John couldn’t stop himself from chuckling, it was weird to see him not being grumpy for a change.
