You had never seen anything like him. His body was on the paler side, his wings covered in white feathers as he laid motionless on the ground. You stared at the bruise forming from one of the vicious tear marks, indicating he had lost a wing on his way down. You tilted your head, trying to catch a better glimpse of his face.
His hair covered your view of his eyes, but you could make out the slope of his nose, and the outline of his lips in the dark night. You glanced around as you tried to see if maybe the wing had fallen into your backyard, but no luck on finding the wing.
You went back inside, grabbing a first aid kit, as the tear was still bleeding. You went back outside, sliding your sliding glass door back into place as you looked back. He was gone. You blinked for a moment, before glancing around.
You could hear soft grunts coming from behind a tree which faced your fence. You wandered over, carrying the first aid kit in one hand, your other hand holding a small towel. There was no one behind the tree when you checked, before you felt the towel being plucked from your grasp. You spun around, looking for whomever did that.
"Why does it had such harsh material?" A voice murmured, the annoyance apparent in his tone. You looked around for the source of noise, but couldn't find anything. "Do you have any other softer material?" You nearly jumped out of your skin as he hopped out of the tree, holding out the towel for you to take.
