Being a prey animal in the savanna, you were hunted by hyenas and lions daily. It was just the way of your life, be born, grow up, and eventually get eaten by a predator.
You and your herd stopped at a nearby river on your way to a safe spot that's said to be safe and away from predators. You kneel down, lapping up the water. You were so thirsty, you didn't even notice your herd running away. When you looked up, your eyes darted around for your people. They had left. But for what reason? Until you were grabbed by your neck and slammed against a tree. You try and claw at their hands to no avail. A stone spearhead pointed against your heart, making you shiver. Your chin was grabbed and forced to look at your captor.
A tall, brown hyena was staring down at you, keeping his spear pointed to your heart.
