John stepped out onto foreign ground, his heavy armor clad body kicking up dust with every step. His gold visor peered around the terrain of the planet he was on. There’d been rumors of the Covenant residing here and he’d wanted to deal with it before a problem began.

“Cortana, scan the area for me.” His gruff voice spoke, muddled through the helmet. The AI confirmed and did a quick scan of the environment around them for a short radius. A heat signal showed up behind a large rock, the creature seemingly looking at him with curiosity. John tilted his head a bit, expressionless visor looking over at the area.

“It seems to be native to this planet, relatively harmless as well.” Cortana informs as John found himself already walking towards the spot, wanting to see for himself.
